Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC)
The Paralegal Institute @ Brighton College is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission, DEAC (Formerly Distance Education and Training Council-DETC), which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and is a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
The National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
The Paralegal Institute, Inc. has complied with the qualifications and requirements for membership in the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. and has agreed to be bound by the NALA Code of Ethics & Professional Responsibility, therefore declared a duly qualified member of NALA.
Graduates of The Paralegal Institute are eligible to seek certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), to become a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA), upon completion of NALA’s minimum course requirements.
Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP)
The Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) credential recognizes employees of career-oriented institutions who strive for excellence in their respective positions.
The CHEP certification is awarded by Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU), an international association representing the voice and vision of postsecondary career education. Certified professionals receive a digital certificate with an embedded open badge to share and showcase their achievements. Participating institutions are provided with digital recognition seals to demonstrate and display their commitment to excellence.
